A two-year-old girl born with four arms, four legs and extra internal organs left hospital smiling on Saturday, nearly six weeks after doctors removed her extra limbs in a gruelling operation.
The team of around 30 medics took away what amounted to Lakshmi Tatma's headless identical twin sister who was joined at the pelvis and who did not develop and separate properly in the womb -- an extremely rare case.

Lakshmi will need further treatments and possible surgery for clubbed feet before she will be able to walk, Sharan Patil said.

"Lakshmi has recovered adequately. She can now stand with help," said Dr. Sharan Patil, the chairman of the hospital, which said at the time that it had paid for the treatment.
"Medically, I have no reasons to believe she will not be a normal adult," Dr. Patil added.

"I cannot say how happy we are," Lakshmi's labourer father, Shambu, told reporters as the family left Sparsh Hospital in Bangalore for a flight home to Bihar.
"My daughter is going to lead a normal life. We plan to build a temple in our village."

"Doctors have given us sufficient advice on how to take care of her at home. I don't see any problems. People in our village are waiting to see her," said Shambu.

Please Don't Call Me Monkey

No one can choose what they will look like when they will be birth to this earth. We have only two choose, accept it (whatever we are) as a grace from the God or deny it and blame the God or anybody with thousand of reason. The story below will help us to choose ....

She is the second daughter of Fatma Nusi (40) and Yusni Abdul (35) who lived in the village of Tilangobula, District East Suwawa, Bone Bolango, Gorontalo, Indonesia. She has abnormal physic than a normal human being in general. Bushy hair nearly cover the entire body of ten-year-old girl. Not only the hair, which makes people immediately see it looked like primates for upper and lower jaw protruding, fluffy pug nose, eyelids widened to forehead and almost has no ear holes.

Would be shocked at first, but when you're talking and stared at her long, strange view of the child will slowly fade.
Instead of never despair, but for her mother Fatma tears of remorse did not deserve in the presence of Septi who only physically different with another human being.

At least, said Septi, she could realize her dream of a trip to Jakarta by a plane.
