Angie Fenimore's Suicide Near-Death Experience

This story was shocking me. I think Angie got the second chance. But do we ?

 By Kevin Williams

Angie Fenimore, a wife and mother haunted by abuse in childhood and overwhelmed by despair, was in a desperate state of mind. On January 8, 1991, she committed suicide, hoping to escape her sense of emptiness and suffering. But clinical death didn't draw her to the light seen in so many near-death experiences. Instead, she found herself in a realm of darkness. The hell she experienced was far more horrific and personal than the old fire-and-brimstone metaphors. Her hell was a realm of terrifying visions and profound psychic disconnection. Miraculously, she was restored to life: imprinted forever with a new sense of faith, of being subject to the sacred will, and of being truly a child of God. The following is an excerpt from her wonderful book, Beyond the Darkness.

I was passing over into a different sphere. My soul was disconnecting from my body with a hum that kept growing louder, rising to a whine as the vibration of death pulled me deeper. I noticed that there was a large screen before me. I was being drawn into a three-dimensional slide show of my life that played out before my eyes chronologically, while I experienced every part of it from all points of view and all points of understanding. I knew exactly how each person felt who had ever interacted with me. In particular, however, I was being shown in vivid detail exactly what my childhood was really like. The pictures flew past me, but I easily absorbed every moment, each one triggering an entire memory or a chunk of my life. So this was what people meant when they said, "My life flashed before my eyes." The closer I came to the end of my life, the faster the pictures flew past me. It was incredible! In an instant I had experienced the entirety of the twenty-seven years from my birth until the moment that I found myself dying on the couch and passing into the warm tunnel.

Then the fast motion of my life rushing past and through me stopped abruptly. Now what? Where was I? I was immersed in darkness. My eyes seemed to adjust, and I could see clearly even though there was no light. The darkness continued in all directions and seemed to have no end, but it wasn't just blackness, it was an endless void, an absence of light. It was completely enveloping. I swung my head around to explore the thick blackness and saw, to my right, standing shoulder to shoulder, a handful of others. They were all teenagers. "Oh, we must be the suicides." With a laugh, I opened my mouth, but before I could form the words, they came tumbling out. I wasn't sure whether I had thought the words or had attempted to say them, but they were audible without my having to move my lips. Then I wasn't sure if these other people had heard me, until the guy next to me responded. He didn't say a word to me. He slowly looked down at me and turned forward again. There was absolutely no expression on his face, no warmth or intelligence in his eyes. Suspended in darkness, he and all the others stood fixed in a thoughtless stupor.

Second over from the other end of the line was a girl who looked to be in her late teens. I was coming to see that feeling - what some call intuition or the sixth sense - was the preferred method of transferring information here, where unvoiced ideas grew audible. As I exercised my new power of sensing/feeling, I had an inkling that I was remembering a long-forgotten, natural, familiar skill that had been supplanted or subverted by words, and I quickly grew proficient at this new way of gaining knowledge. But she did not connect with me. Her empty gaze, fixed on nothing, continued uninterrupted by my thoughts about her. She was just like the rest of them, staring blankly forward, with no concern or curiosity about where we were. They were dead, and so was I.

Suddenly, as if we had been waiting for a kind of sorting process to take place, I was sucked further into the darkness by an unseen and undefined power, leaving the teenagers behind. I landed on the edge of a shadowy realm, suspended in the darkness, extending to the limits of my sight. I knew that I was in a state of hell, but this was not the typical fire and brimstone hell that I had learned about as a young child. The word purgatory rose, whispered, into my mind.

Men and women of all ages, but no children, were standing or squatting or wandering about on the realm. Some were mumbling to themselves. The darkness emanated from deep within and radiated from them in an aura I could feel. They were completely self-absorbed, every one of them too caught up in his or her own misery to engage in any mental or emotional exchange. They had the ability to connect with one another, but they were incapacitated by the darkness. I gradually became aware of the sounds of a kaleidoscopic flurry of voices, and I realized that in this realm, thoughts were the mode of communication. Around me I could hear the buzz of thoughts, as if I were in a crowded movie theater with lights down low, picking up the sounds of hushed exchanges.

Sitting next to me was a man who appeared to be about sixty years old. This man's eyes were totally without comprehension. Pathetically squatting on the ground, draped in filthy white robes, he wasn't radiating anything, not even self-pity. I felt that he had absorbed everything there was to know here and had chosen to stop thinking. He was completely drained, just waiting. I knew that his soul had been rotting here forever. In this dark prison a day might as well be a thousand days or a thousand years. I was sure that this man, like the middle-aged woman, had killed himself. His clothing suggested that he might have walked the Earth during Jesus Christ's earthly ministry. I wondered if he was Judas Iscariot, who had betrayed the Savior and then hung himself. I felt that I should be embarrassed that I was thinking these things in his presence, where he could hear me.

As my mind reached for more information, I felt tremendous disappointment. I could feel and completely know about everything around me just by posing a question in my mind or by looking in any direction. The possibilities for learning were endless, but I had no books, no television, no love, no privacy, no sleep, no friends, no light, no growth, no happiness, and no relief - no knowledge to gain and no way to use it. But worse was my growing sense of complete aloneness. Even hearing the brunt of someone's anger, however unpleasant, is a form of tangible connection. But in this empty world, where no connections could be made, the solitude was terrifying.

Then I heard a voice of awesome power, not loud but crashing over me like a booming wave of sound; a voice that encompassed such ferocious anger that with one word it could destroy the universe, and that also encompassed such potent and unwavering love that, like the sun, it could coax life from the Earth. I cowered at its force and at its excruciating words: "Is this what you really want?" The great voice emanated from a pinpoint of light that swelled with each thunderous word until it hung like a radiant sun just beyond the black wall of mist that formed my prison. Though far more brilliant that the sun, the light soothed my eyes with its deep and pure white luminescence. I sensed that the light could not (or perhaps would not - I wasn't sure) cross the barrier into the darkness. And I knew with complete certainty that I was in the presence of God.

He was a Being of Light, not just radiating light or illuminated from within, but he almost seemed to be made of the light. It was a light that had substance and dimension, the most beautiful, glorious substance that I have ever beheld. All beauty, all love, all goodness were contained in the light that poured forth from this being. But there is nothing that we are even capable of imagining that comes close to the magnitude of perfect love that this being poured into me. While I was not remembering details of a life before my mortal birth, I was reacquainting myself with the life that I shared with the Father, a spirit life that seemed to extend to the beginning of the universe.

I could see that none of the others in the realm were aware of God's presence. The man cowering next to me could see that I was focused on something, but it was apparent that he couldn't see anything beyond the barrier. Others continued to babble unaware. Then God spoke to me. His words were excruciating: "Is this what you really want? Don't you know that this is the worst thing you could have done?" I could feel his anger and frustration, both because I'd thrown in the towel and because I had cut myself off from him and from his guidance. And I'd felt trapped. I had been able to see no other choice but to die before I could do any more damage in life. So I answered: "But my life is so hard." My thoughts were communicated so fast that they weren't even completed before I absorbed his response: "You think that was hard? It is nothing compared to what awaits you if you take your life." When the Father spoke, each of his words exploded into a complex of meanings, like fireworks, tiny balls of light that erupted into a billion bits of information, filling me with streams of vivid truth and pure understanding. "Life's supposed to be hard. You can't skip over parts. We have all done it. You must earn what you receive."

Suddenly I felt another presence with us, the same presence that had been with me when I first crossed over into death and who had reviewed my life with me. I recognized that he had been with us the whole time, but that I was only now becoming able to perceive him. Then I'd sensed his powerful, yet gentle personality, but now I could feel him so strongly that I could even ascertain his shape. What I could see were bits of light coming through the darkness, like tiny laser beams pinpricking a black sheet or like stars peeping through the blackness of a cloudless night. This light was unmistakably of the same brilliance as the glorious light that emanated from the Father, but my spiritual eyes were incapable of fully beholding it. My ability to see with my eyes was somehow linked to my willingness to believe. The rays of light penetrated me with incredible force, with the power of an all-consuming love. This love was as pure and potent as the Father's, but it had an entirely new dimension of pure compassion, of complete and perfect empathy. I felt that he not only understood my life and my pains exactly, as if he had actually lived my life, but that he knew everything about how to guide me through it; how my different choices could produce either more bitterness or new growth. Having thought all my life that no one could possibly understand what I had been through, I was now aware that there was one other person who truly did.

Through this empathy ran a deep vein of sorrow. He ached, he truly grieved for the pain I had endured, but even more for my failure to seek his comfort. His greatest desire was to help me. He mourned my blindness as a mother would mourn a dead child. Suddenly I knew that I was in the presence of the redeemer of the world. He spoke to me through the veil of darkness: "Don't you understand? I have done this for you." As I was flooded with his love and with the actual pain that he bore for me, my spiritual eyes were opened. In that moment I began to see just exactly what it was that the Savior had done, how he had sacrificed for me. He showed me; He had taken me into himself, subsumed my life in his, embracing my experiences, my sufferings, as his own. And so for a second I was within his body, able to see things from his point of view and to experience his self-awareness. He let me in so I could see for myself how he had taken on my burdens and how much love he bore me.

And I knew where I had gone wrong. I had doubted his existence. I had questioned the authenticity of the scriptures because what they claimed seemed too good to be true. I had hoped that there was truth to the idea of a Savior who had given his life for me, but I had been afraid to really believe. To believe without seeing requires a great deal of trust. My trust had been violated so many times in my life that I had very little to spare. And so I had clung to my pain so tightly that I was willing to end my life rather than unburden myself and act on the chance that a Savior existed. He wanted to comfort me and to hold me, but we were separated by my responses to the lessons of life. He had been there for me all through my life, but I had not trusted him. As I watched from the Savior's perspective, his unique comprehension of my predicament was transferred to the Father. From my new perspective I saw God in profile as he was looking at my form. The Father and his Son's communication was so rapid, so perfect, that they seemed to think each other's thoughts in unison. Jesus was pleading my case. There was no conflict or argument here; Jesus' understanding was accepted without dispute because he had all the facts. He was the perfect judge. He knew precisely where I stood in relation to my need for mercy and the universe's need for justice. Now I could see that all the suffering in my mortal life would be temporary, and that it was actually for my good. Our sufferings on Earth need not be futile. Out of the most tragic of circumstances springs human growth.

As God the Father and Jesus were teaching me, their words picked up speed and power and then merged, so that they were saying the exact same things in the very same moment. They shared one voice, one mind, and the purpose, and I was deluged with pure knowledge. I learned that just as there are laws of nature, of physics and probability, there are laws of spirit. One of these spiritual laws is that a price of suffering must be paid for every act of harm. I was painfully aware of the suffering I had caused my family and other people because of my own weaknesses. But now I saw that by ending my life, I was destroying the web of connections of people on Earth, possibly drastically altering the lives of millions, for all of us are inseparably linked, and the negative impact of one decision has the capacity to be felt throughout the world.

My children, certainly, would be gravely harmed by my suicide. I was given a glimpse of their future, not the events of their lives but rather energy, and the character that their lives would have. By abandoning my earthly responsibilities, I would influence my children, my oldest son in particular, to make choices that would lead him away from his divine purpose. Before Alex was born, I was told, he had agreed to perform specific tasks during his life on Earth. His duty was not revealed to me, but I felt the energy that his life would have up until his young adult years. I was told that my children were great and powerful spirits and that up to this point in my life, I had not deserved them. I caught a glimpse of how deeply God loves my boys, and how, with my callous disregard for their welfare, I was tampering with the sacred will of God.

Then I was shown how I would harm other people close to me, such as my husband and my sister, Tony, by taking my life; and by extension, countless others. There were people on the Earth whom I would never meet who would be affected by my suicide. Because of the anger and pain I would cause them, my loved ones would be unable to store up the goodness that they were meant to pass on to others. I would be held responsible for the damages - or the lack of good - they would do while immersed in the pain of my selfish death. And I would pay dearly for it, since spiritual laws dictate that all of the harm, including lack of good, stemming from my death be punished by a measure of suffering. Even though I couldn't foresee the ripple effect my death would cause, I would be held accountable. God himself is bound by spiritual law, and so there could be no escape for me.

And I was shown that for me, the realm of darkness was quite literally spiritual time-out, a place where I was supposed to grasp the gravity of my offenses and to pay the price. But I had to ask, why me? Why was it that I could see God while the vacant husk of a man next to me could not? Why was I absorbing light and being taught, while he was hunkering down in misery and darkness? I was told that the reason is willingness. When I first looked at that man and wondered if he had been alive during the earthly ministry of Jesus, the question showed that I was willing to believe in God, willing to believe that Christ had once walked the Earth. And once I was willing to believe, I was able to see. Willingness and ability are the same thing. All around me on the dark realm were people of varying degrees of willingness, of understanding, of ability to see that Jesus Christ was there with us the whole time. I don't know if the others were talking to God as I was or if they were talking to other messengers of light that I was not yet capable of seeing, but I'm sure that not all of them were just mumbling to themselves. And I could see that my spiritual time-out could have lasted a moment, or it could have taken me thousands of years to progress out of that dark prison, depending on when I reached the point of willingness to see the light.

And what about the spiritual law that required me to suffer for the damage I had already done in life, up until and including my suicide? I was told that the debt had already been paid, that the sacrifice had already been made. In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus Christ had experienced all the suffering that has or ever will take place in the life of any human born on this Earth. He experienced my life, he bore my sins, he accepted my grief. But in order for the agony that Jesus endured on my behalf to count, in order for him to take my place in fulfilling that spiritual law, I had to accept his gift. My heart broke as I realized that I had been not only hurting my family, who are beloved children of God, but also causing my Savior, who had such all-encompassing love and compassion for me, to suffer - all because I had allowed myself to be molded by other people's weaknesses. Now my perception was shifting, and the darkness seemed to lift slightly. When I first entered the dark prison, my vision took in only the things and the people in the realm of darkness. But once I had taken enough light in from God and Jesus, my spiritual eyes were opened to another dimension in the darkness. Now I could see that Beings of Light were all around me.

Hell, while also a specific dimension, is primarily a state of mind. When we die, we are bound by what we think. In mortality the more solid our thoughts become, as we act upon them - allowing darkness to develop in others and in ourselves - the more damning they are. I had been in hell long before I died, and I hadn't realized it because I had escaped many of the consequences up until the point that I took my life. But when we die, our state of mind grows far more obvious because we are gathered together with those who think as we do. This ordering is completely natural and is consistent with how we choose to live while we are in this world. Our time is but a heartbeat in the eternal scheme of creation, and yet it is the crucial moment of truth, the turning point. It determines how our spirits will exist forever, into both the future and the past. I was becoming less and less a part of the place of darkness with each particle of light that I accepted. I hadn't felt myself lift off the surface, but now I was hovering above the field of darkness, into the realm of the scurrying spirits of light.

I could feel the urgency in the spirits who were scurrying about to do the work of God. I was then told that we are in the final moments before the Savior will return to the Earth. I was told that the war between darkness and light upon the Earth has grown so intense that if we are not continually seeking light, the darkness will consume us and we will be lost. I was not told when it would happen, but I understood that the Earth is being prepared for the second coming of Christ. I looked down at the pathetic souls and realized that I no longer felt as they did. I wanted to live. Then the powerful energy source that had transported me to the dark prison returned to liberate me. For a split second a rushing sensation engulfed me. The darkness sped past, and suddenly I was back in my body, lying on the couch.

Yellow Ribbon Story

Hi All....
I am comeback after almost 4 month ...

Herewith the touching story which touching my heart and give a lesson for me that we should try any small possibility if we still talk about LOVE ... And don't underestimate the power of LOVE ...

In 1971 the New York Post wrote a true story about a man who lived in a small town in White Oak, Georgia, United States. This man married a good and beautiful woman, unfortunately he never appreciated her. He did not become a good husband and father. He often came home at night drunk and beat the child and his wife.

One night he decided to venture into the big cities, New York. He stole money from the savings of his wife, then he took a bus to the north, to the big city, into a new life. Joint with some of his friends he started a new business. For a while he enjoyed his life. Sex, gambling, drug. He enjoyed it all.

Months passed. Years passed. His business failed, and he began to lack of money. Then he began to engage in criminal acts. He wrote a fake check and use it to deceive people's money. Finally, one fateful moment, he was caught. The police put him in prison, and the court sentenced him three years in prison.

Toward the end of his prison, he began to miss home. He missed his wife. He missed his family. Finally he decided to write a letter to his wife, to tell her how sorry he was. That he still loved his wife and children.

He wished he was still allowed back. But he also understood that maybe it was too late, so he ended his letter by writing, "Honey, you do not need to wait for me. But if you still have the feeling to me, will you reveal? If you still want me to come back to you, pls tighten yellow ribbon for me on the only one banyan tree in the center of town. When I passed and did not find a piece of yellow tape, no nothing. I will know and understand. I'm not going to come down from the bus, and will continue to Miami. And I promise I will never again disturb you and the kids all my life. "

Finally the release day arrives. He was very nervous. He did not receive a letter from his wife. He did not know whether his wife received a letter or even if she read the letter, if she would forgive him?

He took a bus to Miami, Florida, who passed his home, White Oak. He was very nervous. The whole bus hear his the story, and they ask the bus driver, "Please, pass through the White Oak, go slowly ... we have to see what will happen ..."

His heart pounded as the bus approached the center of White Oak. He did not dare raise her head. Cold sweat profusely.
Finally he saw the tree. Hatch tears in his eyes ...
He did not see a yellow ribbon ...
No a yellow ribbon ....
There is no piece of ......

But there are a hundred pieces of yellow ribbons hung on that banyan tree ....
... Ooh ... the whole tree ...!!!!!!!!!!!! filled with yellow ribbon

This true story of the song hits number one in 1973 in the United States.
The driver immediately phoned the newspaper and tell this story. A
songwriters write this story into a song, "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Around
The Old Oak Tree ", and when this album was released in February 1973,
directly into hits in April 1973.

Here is the song :
I'm coming home I've done my time And I have to know what is or isn't mine
If you received my letter Telling you I'd soon be free Then you'd know just
what to do If you still want me If you still want me Oh tie a yellow ribbon
'Round the old oak tree It's been three long years Do you still want me If I
don't see a yellow ribbon 'Round the old oak tree I'll stay on the bus,
forget about us Put the blame on me If I don't see a yellow ribbon 'Round
the old oak tree Bus driver please look for me 'Cause I couldn't bare to see
what I might see I'm really still in prison And my love she holds the key A
simple yellow ribbon's all I need to set me free I wrote and told her please
Oh tie a yellow ribbon 'Round the old oak tree It's been three long years Do
you still want me If I don't see a yellow ribbon 'Round the old oak tree
I'll stay on the bus, forget about us Put the blame on me If I don't see a
yellow ribbon 'Round the old oak tree Now the whole damn bus is cheering And
I can't believe I see A hundred yellow ribbons 'Round the old, the old oak tree
Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree
Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree
Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree
Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree Tie a ribbon 'round the old oak tree

Please Don't Call Me Monkey

No one can choose what they will look like when they will be birth to this earth. We have only two choose, accept it (whatever we are) as a grace from the God or deny it and blame the God or anybody with thousand of reason. The story below will help us to choose ....

The small-wrinkle hands that write "My name is Abdul Septiningsih, goals wants to be loved by everyone" with a string of letters neatly lined up on a piece of paper.

She is the second daughter of Fatma Nusi (40) and Yusni Abdul (35) who lived in the village of Tilangobula, District East Suwawa, Bone Bolango, Gorontalo, Indonesia. She has abnormal physic than a normal human being in general. Bushy hair nearly cover the entire body of ten-year-old girl. Not only the hair, which makes people immediately see it looked like primates for upper and lower jaw protruding, fluffy pug nose, eyelids widened to forehead and almost has no ear holes.

Would be shocked at first, but when you're talking and stared at her long, strange view of the child will slowly fade.
Instead of never despair, but for her mother Fatma tears of remorse did not deserve in the presence of Septi who only physically different with another human being.

Maybe a little more long-haired girl will be the object of research by numerous scientists. Moreover, the Indonesia Ministry of Health instructed immediately to bring Septi to Jakarta, to study what is the cause of physical disorder.
"If the changed of face is no longer possible, which is important the body hair can be lost that was more than enough," Fatma hope.
As for the child, plan to go to Jakarta was very interesting, she hope that when she got back later she got many stories for her friends in the village.
At least, said Septi, she could realize her dream of a trip to Jakarta by a plane.
Moreover, only one of the most desirable Septi, "Please do not call me monkey!" she said.

Surprised on the Midnight

The phone on the midnight usually give a bad news rather than good news. But onething which we can sure that God will handle all the thing if we hand over all the problem to Him ...

Saturday morning, Raymond was awakened by a ringing telephone. While his wife, still sleeping soundly. As to the living room, his mind drifted to the two married sons and his daughter which still in college. Raymond hopes that people who call the wrong number because the phone in the middle of the night usually only bring bad news.

Still in a sleepy state, he replied with a murmur, "Hello?"
But the sounds were sobs. Raymond inwardly prayed, "Father, give me strength for whatever may happen."
"Daddy?" came the voice of a girl.
"Yes", he said. His voice was heavy because he has just awakened. From across the sobs came. Raymond asked in a whisper so his wife did not wake up, "What’s happened, dear?"
"Daddy ..." she seemed to try to control herself. Raymond is still waiting.
"Daddy, forgive me."

Raymond hopes that he would only hear the matter such as failed the test. The girl was crying and kept crying.
"Daddy?" the girl voice called again.
"Yeah, Daddy here" said Raymond.
"Dad, I'm pregnant"
Raymond gasped. How could this happen? So far he and his wife had raised their children with love, according to the teachings of the church and the Bible.
This news was hard to believe, because Raymond did not even know his daughter had had a lover. In his heart he pleaded strength, the words right and the correct response to this problem although he was very disappointed.
The girl's voice pleading and full of remorse, begging his forgiveness. And Raymond does not ask how that could happen. "We love you", he said, interrupted by tears. "We forgive you, dear"

The conversation lasted more than half an hours. After that, Raymond sat down and cried until the morning. When his wife woke up, he told the news to her.
All day they are reluctant to do anything. They just busy writing letters to their daughter. In the letter they said that they would be open to receive children and their grandchildren will. They will always guide her and support whatever decision she would take to the father of the baby.
According to the post, it will be delivered on Monday morning. While waiting, Raymond and his wife truly tormented.
During this weekend Raymond pray God was pleased eliminate what had happened, and restore the situation as a few hours before he received a call.

Monday morning, with eyes still red Raymond went to work. In the afternoon he received a call from her daughter.
"Father" his daughter said, laughing "What's a letter about?"
Apparently the bad news is not true. Her daughter did not call before dawn on Saturday. It's just a wrong number, a surprise on the midnight . Two people talking on the phone, and feel recognize each other. Finally Raymond trying all day to find out the phone from the middle of the night. He did not want the girl who called it go home to his father who she thought had forgiven his mistake.

God really answer Raymond prayer. When his girl calls, everything returns to normal. Everything, except for Raymond who got a lesson so that he becomes sensitive and can empathize with parents who get news like that.

The Ladder of Love

Another Love Story which will show to us that love have a big power to make a great thing ....

A love story recently came out of China and directly touch the whole world.

This story is the story of a man and an older woman, who fled themselves to live together and love each other in peace for half a century.

China men aged 70 years who had carved 6000 staircase with hands(hand carved) for his wife 80-year-old who had died in the cave which become their home during the last 50 years.

50 years ago, Liu Guojiang, youth 19 years old, fell in love with a widow 29-year old named Xu Chaoqin ....
Like the story of Romeo and Juliet (Shakespeare), their friends and relatives denounce their relationship because the age difference between them and the fact that Xu already had children ....

At that time, it can not be accepted and considered immoral if a boy loves older women. To avoid gossip and taunts from the surroundings, the couple decided to flee and live in a cave in Jiangjin village, in the south Chong Qing.
At first their life were very poor, because they do not have nothing, no electricity or even food. They had to eat grass and roots they found in the mountain. And Liu made a kerosene lamp to illuminate their lives.

Xu always felt that she had tied Liu and he repeatedly asked, "Are you sorry?" Liu always replied, "As long as we are industrious, life will be better".

After 2 years they lived in the mountain, Liu began to carve the steps so his wife can go down the mountain with ease. And this goes on for 50 years.

Half a century later, in 2001, a group of travelers (adventurers) conduct exploration into the forest. They were astonished to find that the elderly couple and also 6000 steps have been made by Liu.

Sun Sheng Liu, one of their 7 children say, "My parents really love each other, they live alone for more than 50 years and never split a single day. During the 6000's father had carved steps to cheer up my mother's heart, even though she was not too often down the mountain.
The couple lived in peace for more than 50 years.

One day Liu's 72-year-old fainted when he returned from his farm. Xu sat and prayed with her husband until Liu finally died in her arms. Because so loved him, Liu’s grasp is very difficult to released from the Xu’s hands.
"You have promised to take care of me and will continue with me until I die, now you've ahead of me, how I will be able to live without you?"

For several days Xu keeps repeating this sentence, fingering her husband's casket with tears down her cheeks.

In the year 2006 the story became one of 10 famous love story in China, collected by the Chinese Women Weekly magazine.

The government has decided to preserve that “the ladder of love", and their residence has become a museum so that this love story can live on.

Dad Who Replaces Us

Punishment often can not change someone. But with the example of right action can alter a person be better than when he/she was punished again and again. Let the following story teaches us as a parents to give more examples than the punishment on our children ...

Father and mother are always joined to serve in church services every week. My father became a member of the choir and mother became the organist. Therefore, my brother and me always sit alone without parental supervision. Each time the service, we sat on the right front of the existing pews. And, so free, we often act casually. As the result after the choir finished, Dad often took one of us came out and hit us, because he was embarrassed by our actions.

From so many services that we follow it, there was a very memorable event for me. As usual, my father and mother are in their respective positions for duty. Only the church was crowded at that time, so the choir members should remain sat until the service ended. As usual we are very naughty. Throughout the service we were laughing, jumping around there, up and down to the seat, even crawling under the pews.
When we arrived home, my father called us. From the voice we knew he was furious. But we suspect, as usual my father would only hit us. If yes, then I would say that my brother who invited me to misbehave so that he will be beaten. My brother was strong, he would sit quietly on his father's lap and "enjoy" a blow until my father tired. He never asked for mercy or crying in pain as he sometimes even smiles.
But on that day my father told us to sit down in living room. That means there's something really serious. Father had prepared the bat, but he did not ask why we were naughty or preach to us as usual. Dad was silent and then said "Daddy had failed to become a good father for both of you"
Dad took the bat and said again: "Now Daddy wants you to hit my hand. Daddy should be punished for can not teach you to behave well " We even laughed at, because we thought my father was joking. But he did not laugh. We just realized that my father really serious.
I have never seen my brother cry. Dad even yell at him to take the bat. When he hit his father, his emotions burst, and tears spilled. He was unable to continue to beat because his heart was sliced. When it was my turn to hit, my hand also felt so weak.
I will always remember that experience. Dad would be punished in my place. His attitude was really touched and even affect me until now. After I became a father, I also will sacrifice for my children. No doubt, since that day we changed. We do not want to repeat that experience. We did not immediately turn into an angel, but we really want to try so that my father do not have to accept the punishment for our behavior.

Family Picture

This story is special for all parent which sometimes didn’t realize even physically they are at home but their kids can not feel their attendance. I hope we can realize it before it become too late for us to change. Someday we will feel as a happy parent when we realize ‘our picture’ are in our kids heart …

I was sitting on my favorite chair in our guest room, studied for my doctoral examination when my daughter Sarah suddenly came to me and ask “Dad, will you see our family picture which I draw?” I said “Sarah I am very busy right now, can you come back here a few minute later, dear ?” .Good reason, right ? After one week full of work, even on Sunday, sometimes it also happened to you.

After ten minutes, she came back again and said “Dad, I want to show my drawing”
I feel my blood blast to my head “Sarah, I said later, I still have important thing to do !”
After three minutes, she came back again on the guest room, this time she stand about 3 inch from my nose, and shout with full power of five year kids “Daddy want to see it or not?”
"No” I said “Daddy don’t want to see it”.

After she heard that suddenly she went out from the room and left me alone. But I still did not feel free as I thought on contrary I feel worried, I feel become a bad parent for her, therefore I go to the front door and call her. “Sarah will you come in? Daddy want to see your drawing” She follow without any argue and sit on my lap.

The drawing is very good, Sarah even gave it title with her best written “My Best Family”. “Tell me about this picture” asked me. "This is mom (she is pointed on a thin woman with long weavy hair), this is me stand near mom (she pointed it with smile), this is Katie our dog and this is Missie (she pointed on thinny girl)". How she look at our family was very interesting.

“Daddy like yr drawing” I said “Daddy want to hang it on the wall of dinning room so every night when I am back from work and study (usually on about 10 pm) I can see it". She was very happy when she heard that, then she continue to play outside.

I continued to read my book, but because of something, I read the same paragraph so many times. Something bother my mind, something about Sarah’s drawing, something is missing.
I went to the front door “Sarah” I called her “will you come in for a few minute?” I want to see your drawing again”. I asked a question to my daughter, but I didn’t think I am ready to hear her answer. “Dear in your drawing there are your mom, Sarah and Missie. There are also our dog Katie. But Sarah..., where is Daddy?”. “Daddy was in the library” she answered.

Short answer from my daughter make me shocked for a few minutes. I sit on my chair with my heart beat rapidly. The fog which cover my mind suddenly disappear, and my eyes was opened. What I have just heard look so scary and I feel like I will die. I just realized it. God has many ways to get our attention, today I got it through my daughter. Will you let Him to get your attention today?. Need a few year before I feel “at home”.

What a unforgotten day when three people which meaningful to my life gave me a present. My daughter Missy call it as a “family picture”. I know this is sound crazy but my heart beat rapidly again. Once more the big drawing which show picture of our family, drawing with crayon, this time draw by our younger kids. My eyes started to look who is on the drawing, and I found a tall man with mustache, stand on the middle of the family. Daddy. Finally I am back on the drawing, back to the place which I should be …

Daddy Favorite Car

Our favorite goods sometimes have got special treatment compared with our treatment to our children. Following this story reminds us that our children which we have grant from God should be more special than any of our favorite goods. Today let our children know that we love them more than anything ………

My father loves car. He assemble and polish it become so shiny, and he remember every sound, smell and distinguish from each of the car too. He was also very finicky about who can drive the car. He have a very good Red Chevy pick up, a big Suburban and a white Mustang V-8 plant. He was also short-tempered and less patient in the case of carelessness, especially if it is done by his children.
On that evening, he told me to go to town with the Red Chevy to buy the goods that he needed to work in the house. That happened not long after I get the Driving License so I still bumbling on the road.

I drive the pick up (truck) carefully to the city, trying to drive as careful as possible as usually told by my father. Think that my Dad’s car possible to crashed anytime make myself become the most carefully driver in the city.
I'm through the main cross road in the city when the lights turn green and when I’m right on middle of the main cross road, suddenly an old man who does not consider red light hit the front of my Chevy car. I immediately turn brake, swerve the wheel on the slippery roads, so that the car spin and finally roll on the side road.
At a moment I felt dizzy, and my face bloody exposed with the car smithereens glass. But luckily my seat belt wearing to protect me from a more severe injury. Not long after I heard the siren voice. I just started wondering how long I have already trapped in the car when the officer helped me out. Then I immediately sat down in the street, hold my hurts head, with the blood drip to my face and my clothes.
At the time I can clearly see my Dad’s Red Chevy. The car is full of scratches and have heavy damaged, so I surprised that I still survived. Since that time I began to regret and think if it does not happen, because soon I must face my Dad and tell him about the bad news of his favorite car.
We live in a small town. Some people who saw the accident surely recognize me. Surely someone has called my father because not long after I saved, my father run to find me. I close my eyes, do not dare to look his face.
"Dad ... I am sorry ..."
"Terry, you OK?"
My Dad’s voice does not sound at all like I imagined. When I turned, he kneel beside me in the street, with carefully his hand lift my face to check the injured.
"It is hurt?"
"I am OK. I truly regret over the Truck … "
"Forget about the Truck, Terry" "Truck are just a machine, Daddy is more worried about you, not the truck"
"You can stand? walk? Daddy will bring you to the hospital, or you may need an ambulance? "

I shake my head.
"I do not need an ambulance. I am all right "

Daddy carefully holding my hand and lift me. I look at his face with confusion and wonder when I see his face looked so anxious and compassionate.
"Can you walk?" he asked, his voice sounded full of worried.
"I am OK ,Dad. Seriously. Why do not we just go home immediately? I do not need go to the hospital"
Finally we agreed to go to our family doctor. Doctors then clean the wound, give bandage, and finally let me go home.
I do not remember anymore when the truck crane, what I do on that evening, or how long I lie down because of illness. What I know is for the first time in my life, I realized that my Dad loved me. I did not realize it. In fact my Dad love me more than his truck, and all of the car, more than I ever imagined.
Since then we have a lot of things, and sometimes I still disappointed him. Actually that's enough to make him angry, but one thing does not change. Formerly, my Dad loved me, and I believe he will always love me.

A Broken Promise

Sometimes we never count the effect of our respon as a parent to our kids, but it can effect for life to our kids. Through this story pls think about it, can you fix the heart of a child who has been disappointed by his father which broken a promise? How can you restore trust when their belief has been destroyed? How you can restore the excitement eyes of the child?

A man aged 40 years coming consultation. He recounts the incident that makes him so disappointed, but already over 28 years. Which be very worried about, that experience still influence him until now!

"That time I was 12 years old. My scout groups plan to camp with the father. I'm very happy and want to notify the father. I wanted to show him my ability. I'm happy when the father welcomed the plan."

"Than come the waited day. I have been ready with all the equipment in the terrace, ready to put in a car when father went home after work. According to the plan we will gather in the school at 5 pm, and depart to the camp together. But until seven o'clock, my father has not returned."
"I'm so anxious. But when father returned, he said that there are office jobs that must be completed. He said to me not too worry because we can wake up early in the morning tomorrow and go to the camp. Moreover we have a map location. Of course I am disappointed, but I try to accept it with patience."
"The next day, I wake up early in the morning to put all the equipment in the car. My father said we would leave around seven o'clock. I have ready a half hour before that, but my father did not wake up until half to ten."
"When he see I was ready, my father even said that actually he got back pain so its hurt for him to sleep on ground. He hope I can understand and be mature. More disapointed, I have to dismantle all that has been prepared because my father have another appointment."
"With sad of heart I put outside the sleeping bag, stove, tents, food and all supplies that has been in a car. Then when my father thought I was going, I see him go to a garage, take the golf equipment, to enter the baggage, and go to meet appointment with others. At that time I realized that my father actually never wanted to go camping but do not dare to say to me "
The child has now become an old man who is in consultation with us. His father has died, but the memories are painful his childhood and continue to affect his life and his family for many years. imagine how great the impact!

A child can love, trust, serve, share, give and create. With the help of God, a father can dig up all the depth of the heart of a child.

Acceptance Without Terms

If you think that this story has touched your heart, continue this story to people nearest you. Here there are 'angels' who will accompany you, so at least people who read this story will be moved his heart to be able to do something (anything small) for each other ... who need your help ... !

I am a mother of three children and recently completed my course. The last class I need to take is Sociology. The Lecturers are very inspiring, with the quality that I expect every person in possession.

Last task given to the students were given the name of "Smiling" .All students are required to go outside and give their smile to the three strangers whom meet them and documented their reactions. After that each student is asked to present in front of the class. I was a jovial, friendly and always easy to smile at everyone. So, I think, this task is very easy.

After receiving the task page, I am rushing to meet my husband and my youngest child which waiting in the campus garden, than go to McDonald's restaurant which is located around the campus ... Morning air was very cold and dry ...! While my husband will go in the queue, I interrupt and ask him to accompany my youngest child, while the seat is empty.

When I'm in the queue, waiting to serve, suddenly everyone around us move away, and even the person who originally queued behind me took away out of the queue. A feeling of panic control myself, when I turn and see why they are all breaking in? When I turn down such a "body odor dirty" sting enough, and ... right behind me stood two men who are homeless ... dirty! I'm confused, and unable to move at all .....

When I resign, my eyes accidentally stare male shorter, standing closer to me, and he is "smiling" towards me .... This blue-eyed man, highlight the sharp eyes ... but also emit love ...! He stare towards me, as if he requested that I can receive their 'presence' there ... He greet "Good day ..!" while still smiling and while some of the coins are prepared to pay for the food to be ordered. Spontaneously I reply his smile, and immediately remind me by 'task' given by my lecturers. The second men are playing with the hand movements strange standing on the back of a friend. I soon realized that the second man was suffering mental deficiency, and the man with blue eyes is the "helper". I feel very concerned about them .. when I realize that now it was just left me and them in the queue ..., and we are already up before the counter.

When the young woman at the counter asks me what I want to order, I asked them to order first ... Blue-eyed man immediately ordering "just coffee, one cup ... lady!" Apparently collected from the coin that is only capable purchased by them (restaurant rules here, if you want to sit in the restaurant and warm yr body, then people have to buy something). And these two men seem to only want to warm the body.

Suddently a pity feeling attacked me ... I was starled some time, while my eyes followed the steps they are looking for a place to sit which far away from other guests, which is nearly all ... observed them. At the same time, I realized that at that time all eyes in the restaurant was looking at me, and surely also see all the my 'action' ...

I just realize it after officials at the counter greet me third time asking what I want to order. I smiled ... and have given two packages breakfast (outside of my order) in a separate tray. After paying all the orders, I requested help to other officers in the counter trays to deliver my order to a table of my husband and children. While I take another walk around tray corner towards to the both man table which has been selected
.. I place the tray containing the food on their table, and put my hand on the back cold hand of the blue men, while I say .. "I have ordered this food for both of you ...."

The blue eyes look at me deeply, now my eyes was glistened with tears ... and he was only able to say "Thank you very much, ma'am ...."
I'm trying to keep my self-control, while I light blow his shoulder ... "Surely, that is not only me who do this for you, God is also around here, and have whisper something to my ear to deliver this food to you ...."
When they heard that, the Blue Eyes can not stop to cry and hug the second man. At that time I wanted to hug both of them ....

I can not hold my cry when I walk away ... and join with my husband and my child, not far from where they sit. When I sat my husband tried to mollify my cry with a smile and said ... "Now I know why God send you as my wife ..., to provide 'shelter' for myself and my child ...!" We hold each other hands some time ...... and then we're grateful and realize, that is only because God whisper we have been able to take advantage of our 'chance' .. to be able to do something for other people who are very needy.
When we start to eat food, starting from the guests who will leave the restaurant and followed by several other guests ... come to our table, just want to 'shake hands' with us ... One of them, an old man, hold my hands, and say .. "This hand has provided a costly lesson for all of us here ... if I was given the opportunity, I will do as your example ... "I can only say" thanks "with a smile.

Before leaving the restaurant I go to see towards that two men, they immediately turned towards us with a smile, and wave their hands towards us ... On the way home I ponder again what I have to do both homeless people before, I never thought to do this "action"
I thought, and it is a bless for me ... and for those who have near me at that time. Experience that day showed me how the God's love is great and warm ...!

I went back to college, on the last day of lectures with a 'story'. I submit a 'paper' I have to my lecturers. And the next day, before I start the course lecturer called me to the front of the class, he saw to me and said, "Can I share your story to the other?" "Yes off course" I replied. With the way and style of the lecturers are present in the story ... students who attended the lecture hall feel as if they see how the incident was indeed in progress, so that the student who sat in the back row of them come near me and hug me to reveal her feelings.
The end of reading the paper, the teacher deliberately close to the story quoted one sentence that I write the end of my paper
.. ."Smile with 'heart', and you will know how 'terrible' effect caused ..."

I Cry For My Younger Brother

Again the story about how our kindness can change the people around us. Brother or Sister sometimes sound nothing for us only because we have blood relation with them. But from this below story we can learn how to love our brother or sister ...

I was born in a secluded village of a mountain.Days by days my parents plowed the yellow dry soil with their backs facing the sky.

I have a younger brother, 3 years younger than me.Once, to buy a handkerchief which all girls around me seemed to have, I stole 50 cents from my father's drawer. Father known about it right away. He made my younger brother and me kneeled against the wall, with a bamboo stick in his hand. "Who stole the money?" he asked.

I was stunned, too afraid to talk. Father didn't hear any of us admit, so he said, "Fine, if nobody wants to admit, you two should be beaten!" He lifted up the bamboo stick. Suddenly, my younger brother gripped father's hand and said," Dad, I was the one who did it!"

The long stick smacked on my brother's back repeatedly. Father was so angry that he kept on whipped my brother until he lost his breath. After that, he sat down on our stone bed and scolded my brother, "You have learnt to steal from your own house now, what other embarrassing things you will do in the future?? You should be beaten to death! You shameless thief!"

That night, mother and I hugged my brother. His body full of injuries, but he didn't shed a single tear.
In the middle of the night, all of sudden I cried out loudly. My brother covered my mouth with his little hand and said, " Sis, now don't cry anymore. Everything has happened." I still hate myself for didn't have enough courage to admit what I had done.

Years gone by, but the incident still looked like it just happen! ed yesterday. I will never forget my brother's expression when he protected me. That year, my brother was 8 years old; I was 11 years old.

When my brother was in his last year of his lower secondary school, he was accepted in an uppersecondary school in the central. At the same time, I was accepted into a province's university.
That night, father squatted in the yard, smoking, packet by packet. I could hear him said, "Both our children have good results? very good results?" Mother wiped off her tears and sighed," What is the use? How can we possibly finance both of them?"

At that time, my brother walked out, he stood in front of father and said,"Dad, I don't want to continue mystudy anymore, I have read enough books." Father swung his hand and slapped brother on his face.
"Why do you have a spirit so damn weak? Even if it means I have to beg for money on the streets, I willsend you two to school until you both finish your study!"

And then, he started to knock on every house in the village to borrow money. I stuck out my hand as soft as I can to my brother's swollen face, and said, "A boy has to continue his study; If not, he will not be able to leave this depths of poverty."

Me, on the other hand, had decided not to further my study to university. Who knows on the next day, before dawn, my brother left the house with a few pieces of worn-out clothes and a few dry beans. He sneaked to the side of my bed and left a note on my pillow; "Sis, get into an university is not easy. I will go find a job and send money to you." I held the note while sitting on my bed, and cried until I lost my voice. That year, my brother was 17 years old; I was 20 years old.

With the money father borrowed from the whole village, and money my brother earned from carrying cement on his back at cons! truction site, finally, Imanaged to get to the third year of my study in theuniversity.

One day, I was studying in my room, when my roommate came in and told me,"There's a villager wait for you outside!" Why is there a villager looking for me? I walked out, and saw my brother from afar, His whole body is dirty, covered by dust, cement and sands. I asked him, "Why don't you tell my roommate that you are my brother?" He replied with a smile," Look at my appearance. What will they think if they know that I am your brother? Don't they laugh at you?" I felt so touched, and tears filled my eyes. I swept away dusts from my brother's body. And said with a lump in my throat, " I don't care of what people say! You are my brother no matter what your appearance is?"

From his pocket, he took out a butterfly hair clip. He wore it on me, and said, "I saw all the girls in town are wearing it. So, I think you should also have one."
I could not hold back myself anymore. I pulled my brother into my arms and cried and cried.
That year, my brother was 20 years old; I was 23 years old.

The first time I brought my boyfriend home, the broken window had been repaired. And it looked so clean inside the house.

After, my boyfriend went home, I danced like a small girl in front of my mother, "Mom, you don't have to spend so many time cleaning the house!" But she said with a smile," It was your brother who went home early to clean the house. Didn't you see the wound on his hand? He was injured while replacing the window."I went into my brother's small bedroom. Looking at histhin face, I felt like there are hundreds of needlepricked in my heart.
I put some ointment on his wound and bandaged it,"Does it hurt? " I asked him.
"No, it doesn't hurt. You know, when I was working in the construction site, stones falling on my feet all the time. Even that could not stop me from working and?" In the middle of the sentence, he stopped. I turned my back on him and tears rolling down my face.
That year, my brother was 23 years old; I was 26 years old.

After I got married, I lived in the city. Lots of time my husband invited my parents to come and live with us, but they didn't want. They said, once they left the village, they didn't know what to do. My brother also didn't agree, he said, "Sis, you just taking care of your parents-in-law. I will take care of mom and dad here."

My husband became the director of his factory. We wanted my brother to get the job as the manager in the department of maintenance. But my brother rejected the offer. He insisted on starting to work as a reparation worker. One day, my brother was on the top of a ladder repairing a cable, when he got electrocuted, and was sent to the hospital.

My husband and I visited him. Looked at the white gypsum on his leg, I grumbled,"Why did you reject to be a manager? Manager will not do something dangerous like this. Look at you now, such a serious injury. Why you didn't want to listen to us?" With a serious expression on his face, he defended on his decision, "Think of brother-in-law?he just became the director, and I almost uneducated. If I became the manager, what kind of rumors will fly around?"

My husband's eyes filled up with tears, and then Isaid, "But you lack in education also because of me!""Why talking about the past?" My brother held my hand.

That year, he was 26 years old and I was 29 years old.My brother was 30 years old when he married a farmer girl from the village. In his wedding reception, the master of ceremonies asked him, "Who is the one you respect and love the most?"

Without thinking, he answered," My sister." He continued by telling a story I could not evenremember.

"When I was in primary school, the school was indifferent village.Everyday, my sister and I walked for2 hours to go school and go home. One day, I lost one of my pair of gloves. My sister gave me one of hers. She only wore one glove and walked for so far. When we got home, her hand was so trembled because of the weather that was so cold that she could not even hold her chopsticks. From that day on, I swore that aslong as I live, I would take care of my sister and be good to her."

Applause filled up the room. All guests turned their attentions to me.

Words were so hard to come out from my mouth, "In my whole life, the one I would like to thank the most is my brother,"
And in this happy occasion,in front of the crowd, tears rolling down my face again.

Love and care for the one you love every single days of your life. You may think what you did is just a small deed, but to that someone, it may mean a lot.

The Power of Kindness

Sometimes we don't know the further effect of our kindness to someone's life. But from this below story, we can know that with one small gesture you can change a person's life, for better or for worse ...So, don't stop to do kindness every time we can ....

One day, when I was a freshman in high school, I saw a kid from my class walking home from school. His name was Kyle. It looked like he was carrying all of his books. I thought to myself, "Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday? He must really be a nerd." I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friend the following afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.

As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him. They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt. His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him. He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes.

My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him, and as he crawled around looking for his glasses, I saw a tear in his eye.I handed him his glasses and said, "Those guys are jerks. They really should get lives." He looked at me and said, "Hey, thanks!" There was a big smile on his face. It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude. I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived. It turned out he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before. He said he had gone to private school before coming to this school.

I would have never hung out with a private school kid before. We talked all the way home, and I carried his books. He turned out to be a pretty cool kid. I asked him if he wanted to play football on Saturday with me and my friends. He said yes. We hung all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him. And my friends thought the same of him. Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again. I stopped him and said, "Damn boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!". He just laughed and handed me half the books. Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends.

When we were seniors, we began to think about college. Kyle decided on Georgetown, and I was going to Duke. I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never be a problem. He was going to be a doctor, and I was going for business on a football scholarship. Kyle was valedictorian of our class.I teased him all the time about being a nerd. He had to prepare a speech for graduation. I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak.

Graduation day arrived - I saw Kyle and he looked great. He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school. He filled out and actually looked good in glasses. He had more dates than me and all the girls loved him! Oh boy, sometimes I was jealous. Today was one of those days. I could see that he was nervous about his speech. So, I smacked him on the back and said, "Hey, big guy, you'll be great!"

He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled. "Thanks," he said. As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began. "Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years. Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach... but mostly your friends. I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them. I am going to tell you a story."

I stared at my friend in disbelief as he told the story of the first day we met. He had planned to kill himself over the weekend. He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home. He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile. "Thankfully, I was saved. My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable."

I heard the gasp go through the crowd as this handsome, popular boy told us all about his weakest moment. I saw his Mom and dad looking at me and smiling that same grateful smile. Not until that moment did I realize its depth.

Never underestimate the power of your actions. With one small gesture you can change a person's life. For better or for worse. God puts us all in each other's lives to impact one another in some way. Look for God in others."Friends are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly."

May I Borrow $25 Dad ?

There is a story which crushed me at the first time I read it. This story make me realized that I also should spend my time for my kids, they will loss me a lot when I have no time for them.
Unfortunately, I can not found who was write this story, but I am glad to share this below story for all of you, especially for the parent which never think that their kids need an hour of their time to share ........

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down! .
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?' The father was furious,
DAD: 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money? After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often

The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door. DAD: 'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
SON: 'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
DAD: 'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy sat straight up, smiling.

SON: 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled.
Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills. The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again. The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father..
DAD: 'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
SON: 'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied. SON:'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard ! in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts.
Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love. If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours.
But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
